Strengthened Community Through Complete Website Refresh
The Correctional Peace Officers Foundation (CPOF) prides themselves on preserving and supporting the family members of Correctional Officers who have lost their lives while on duty. It was our responsibility to reflect that in the new web design.
Our goal was to make it easier to become a CPOF member or donate, while ensuring the site properly honors CPOF’s fallen brothers and sisters.
Complete Website Branding Refresh
We wanted to capture the strong positive and familial feelings of CPOF by using bright colors reflecting the pride and patriotism of CPOF’s members. We chose a rounded serif typographic style and website textures which would inspire feelings of hope and positivity, while also honoring and paying respect to families who have lost loved ones.
DATA ORGANIZATION & ACCESSIBILITY
One of the most critical purposes for the site is to pay loving respect to the CPOF members who have lost their lives while carrying out their profession. We designed and developed a directory that allows users to filter through 700 profiles of fallen officers by name, date of “end of watch,” and location. This degree of flexibility makes it easy for families and fellow members to pay tribute.
A MEDIA-RICH USER EXPERIENCE
We needed to bring CPOF to life by showcasing the people it connects. Every page features vivid, colorful imagery which draws attention to the lives and passion of CPOF’s members. Beautifully illustrated membership stories, photos of Fallen Officers, and lively informational pages vividly portray why CPOF is deserving of membership and donations.
