Red Shoe Crawl iPhone App Development | Three29

An annual pub-crawl style event, the Red Shoe Crawl received a major user-experience upgrade with the launch of their mobile app.

Red Shoe Crawl iPhone App

Supporting an important cause that focuses on helping children.

Three29 worked with Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California to create a GPS enabled iOS app for their flagship event, the Red Shoe Crawl.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® Northern California is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting programs that improve the lives of children and their families by supporting the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House and Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake. The App boasts an online database of restaurants that participate in the Red Shoe Craw, guiding participants to locations and awards along the way!

With no ability to move the launch date of the app, coupled with an ever-changing destinations list, Three29 worked closely with RMHCNC to create this app and the flexible backend that supports it. Each Checkpoint allowed check-ins to earn awards and badges.  Three29 created custom illustrations for the badges and showed up in force to enjoy an amazing day at the Red Shoe Crawl!

Product Design

Custom map pins and a locations listing help you keep track of all your visited stops, meaning you spend more time enjoying the day, maximizing the best easts, and supporting a great cause!

“Three29 was instrumental in the success of one of our biggest fundraisers. Because of Three29, not only did our revenue go up but so did the fun quotient!”
