Sacramento History Museum - Three29

From the thriving Gold Rush days, to Sacramento 3.0, The Sacramento History Museum website is at the Center of it all.

Sacramento History Museum

We featured both the history of Sacramento and the Community that brings it to life.

Combining efforts across numerous Boards and agencies, the end-result is a stunning team win that digitally addresses challenges with excellent design and technology.

Three29 was tasked with highlighting the inception of the Sacramento History Alliance, grounded in their flagship brick and mortar, the Sacramento History Museum. We’ve been working with partners from the Historic Old Sacramento Foundation and the Center for Sacramento History for years, and this was another exciting venture in our partnership. An opportunity to promote the history and future of Sacramento is what we’re all about.

Visuals on any website are critical, but rarely is there an opportunity for custom photography to be a part of the project scope. Fortunately, a passionate Board member was on-hand to generate any and all images needed for the website, which highlighted the excellent exhibits the staff puts together for the museum.

Product Design

A color-palette that respects the historical time-period, coupled with fonts and layouts that parlay the past as well as the future, this project is the culmination of research, passion, and many experts in varied fields coming together.

The project wrapped with a presentation to the Board by the Account Manager on the job Kara Ricks.

(And of course a fun-filled happy hour at Ella!)

Cheers to the excellent work of all involved – here’s to looking back, so we can march forward!
